Angie lives on their beef farm in South Africa, Kwazulu Natal. She has always admired the effortless mothering skills between cow and calf. Her “Pyjama cows” (as they have begun to be known), are a commentary of the special love between them: but more so in our own human relationships between mothers and our children. Her flood of line and colour brings attention to a subject which is close to her heart and one which is so important in the foundations of the human race.
These are her golden years and she has expressed it thru this painting
